How to Reset Your Network Adapter

Problem

Your computer cannot connect to the network or keeps dropping the connection.

Solution

Step 1 โ€” Open Device Manager Press Windows + X and select Device Manager from the menu.

Step 2 โ€” Locate Network Adapters Expand the Network Adapters section. Right-click your adapter and select Disable Device, wait 10 seconds, then Enable Device.

Step 3 โ€” Flush DNS Open Command Prompt as Administrator and run:

ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /release
ipconfig /renew

Step 4 โ€” Restart Restart your computer and test the connection.
